Is Nvidia going to announce a GTX 1700 series any time soon?

Kiro67

Hello.

This is my first forum post so I hope I do it right.

Is there any possibility that Nvidia will launch cards like gtx 1750, 1760 ti etc. in the near future? Or they dropped that naming scheme? I am looking for new laptops with a ryzen 7 5800h paired with a decent entry level gpu, but if they are going to release any new entry level gpus that can outperform their 1660 ti i migh wait a little bit more.

Thank you and have a nice day.

Idk how that will be released or if it will be released. Rtx 3050 ti will probably be a beast card already and we probably wont need those counterparts.

The geek himself.

That would e quite unfortunate since it might cost a lot more than the possible counterparts.

At the moment, graphics card prices are insane.
If you are looking for something between 1660 and 3060 ti, maybe take a look at used RTX2060 or RTX2070

As there are already RTX 3050's popping up i don't think the GTX series will be continued. Imo that's a good thing because then stuff like DLSS also gets to the budget cards.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.

By their streamline I dont think so. The 3000 series is already far too promising then to release another subordinate series parts.

Besides this Nvidia is promoting its RTX series and GTX is dead already.

Are you all sure this will be the case? Are they gonna drop even their even lower spec mobile gpus (there was the 940m, mx130, etc. that were pretty decent too)?

definitly No

they keep selling high end overpriced gpu to max the profit

untill supply is enough, then they will consider lower end stuff, meaning no hope

nope they will stay as bringing RTX and DLSS to low end gpu is rediculous. I am specifically talking about 1650, 1660 Ti. There is no point of creating another line up of scaled gpu such as 1750 ot 1760 Ti if the company is already on the road to RTX 3050, RTX 3060, RTX 3060 Ti of cheap ray tracing options.

  • 1 month later...

The GTX 1660 Super was considered an absolute sweetspot for 1080p/60fps gaming and at a fair price, it could be found for around 220 Euros (where I'm from). Will a similar card be coming out this year? I fear not, neither NVIDIA nor AMD seem to care about the low end
