Windows telling me that 50% of ram is 1600mb but i have 16gb!

Im really confused.

 

If 50% of ram is 1600mb, i have 3200mb of ram but thats not true.

Please help, im always +65% RAM

On the top Task Manager say you have 16 GB RAM installed.

 

It also say forther down that Google Chrome is using 1600MB (1,6GB) RAM. Chrome is not the only thing using memory on your PC.

Thats obvious, but 1600mb is not 50% of my ram! is the 10%

Chrome isn't the only thing using RAM.

Thats not all computer RAM, that is chrome ram usage in percentage, my all computer RAM percentage is 80-90%

Please post full picture of task manager and sort it by RAM usage. Giving partial image like that is very confusing. It also seems like spike just looking at that pic since the other values also have changed so much.

it should be 10-12% (Chrome)

You can expand the Chrome by clicking ">" beside the Google Chrome in your task manager. There might be something that block the system from getting the correct RAM usage of Google Chrome. If that's the case, it could mean your system could have been hijacked by Malware.

 

Also, are you opening a lot of tabs at once? Try to close most of the tabs and see if it drops. You can also end task Google Chrome and see how much your RAM usage drop.

i reinstalled Windows, i did not found a solution, probably it was a malware that was taking extra RAM. Thanks for help!
