GPU not running to full peformance

Go to solution Solved by Kilrah,

110 fps is normal given your 9-year old CPU.

You can probably increase graphics settings a bit to load the GPU more, but it's only going to give you better quality, not more fps.

Hello everyone,

I have a GTX1660 Super and an i7-2700K but the GPU is only being used to 50-60% when gaming. Does anyone know how I can make the GPU be used to a higher percentage for better FPS?

Check in the BIOS to see if your PCI-E mode is set to 3.0...

Also; what game(s)...?

I frequently edit any posts you may quote; please check for anything I 'may' have added.

Did you test boot it, before you built in into the case?

WHY NOT...?!

How many FPS do you get? You're most likely cpu limited.

When I watch videos of people playing the games I like, it shows 180FPS average but I'm only getting 110FPS average. There is a 33.94% bottleneck but I can't overclock my CPU
