Why is my ram precentage so high in task manager?

Go to solution Solved by Tan3l6,

Well, nothing to worry about then. Task manager does not show everything logically. I have under "user" 1,9GB used, but obviously thats not right.

Under performance tab there it shows 5,2GB RAM used.

In task manager I see that I am using 1,2 gigs out of 8 but the precentage is 60% how is that possible?

Can we see a secrenshot? That could be including the cached data, or it could be that you've got a 32 bit OS installed.

Where do I find the cached data also I am pretty sure I have a 64 bit operating system.

Just take a screenshot of the memory settings in taskbars performance tab.
