Need advice on upgrading an old prebuilt

Hi Everyone,

First post here, and just had a question. I’m upgrading an old prebuilt that I got back in like 2014. In preparation of receiving the parts, I’m watching the first person PoV build guide. Linus mentions that standoffs typically come with the case, not the board. My new board is ATX, and the prebuilt was mATX. I don’t have as many standoffs as I do holes in the new board. Nor am I sure if they are the right type? Are there types of standoffs that only work with certain boards? Any advice would be appreciated! Thank you!

Old Specs:
MB: Gigabyte GA-78LMT-S2

CPU: FX-6100

GPU: Radeon HD 7770 (dead) swapped for RX580 8G

PSU: Lepa N500-SA

Case: CoolerMaster Elite ATX 430 Elite Mid Tower

I’m keeping the case and GPU.

New:

MB: Asus Tuf X570 Plus Wifi

CPU: Ryzen 5 3600

PSU: Not 100% but I think EVGA GQ 850W

Memory: 2x16 GB 3200

850 watt is overkill for what youre going to upgrade to, besides that the 3600 is last gen, lower your psu and use that money for a 5600x. definitely misspend money
