Best Windows Tablets with good CPUs as of Jan 2021?

Hi there, it seems to be very difficult to find a decent Windows Tablet (Stand alone with detached keyboard) in 2021.

One tablet that I have been using is Dell 5285 with 8GB Ram and i5-7300U CPU. The built quality is in general fantastic so as the user experience.

As of Jan 2021, for Windows Tablets with a decent enough CPU (not the Core M junk), is Dell 7210/7200 and Surface Pro 7 the only 2 viable options? Any other options besides the 2?

And how does 1065G7 fare against the 10810U CPU? Which one is better in day to day office tasks?

Office performance depends more on your SSD/HDD speed. Not CPU

Main: Intel i7-10700KF, RTX 3080 Ventus 3X OC, 16 GB 3900MHz CL15 B-Die, Windows 11 Pro

Third PC: Intel i5-10400F, RTX 2080 Super Gaming X Trio, 16GB 3000MHz Timitec, Windows 10 Pro

Second PC: Ryzen 7 2700, RTX 2070 Super STRIX, 16GB 3200MHz CL15, Windows 10 Pro

First PC: Intel i5-3570, GTX 1060 Windforce, 16GB G-Skill 1600MHz, Windows 10 Pro

Hmmm Laptop: Pentium M 1.6GHz, iGPU, 2 GB 800MHz DDR2, Windows 7 SP1

ASUS's Transformer Pro comes to mind. Similar lineup to the Surface Pro (i7 7500U, i5 7200U, i3 7100U). I've heard decent things about them, but they're not super popular.

Main PC:

AMD Ryzen 7 5800X • Noctua NH-D15 • MSI MAG B550 Tomahawk • 2x8GB G.skill Trident Z Neo 3600MHz CL16 • MSI VENTUS 3X GeForce RTX 3070 OC • Samsung 970 Evo 1TB • Samsung 860 Evo 1TB • Cosair iCUE 465X RGB • Corsair RMx 750W (White)

Peripherals/Other:

ASUS VG27AQ • G PRO K/DA • G502 Hero K/DA • G733 K/DA • G840 K/DA • Oculus Quest 2 • Nintendo Switch (Rev. 2)

Laptop (Dell XPS 13):

Intel Core i7-1195G7 • Intel Iris Xe Graphics • 16GB LPDDR4x 4267MHz • 512GB M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD • 13.4" OLED 3.5K InfinityEdge Display (3456x2160, 400nit, touch).

Got any questions about my system or peripherals? Feel free to tag me (@bellabichon) and I'll be happy to give you my two cents.

PSA: Posting a PCPartPicker list with no explanation isn't helpful for first-time builders :)

What does it have to do?

Windows tablets in general just kinda suck compared to an ipad. It's why there is little out there for higher end products and the ones that are out are multiple generations behind. Really part from the surface go 2 and surface pro there isn't anything with not a couple year old specs out.

It depends. Windows and MacOS support FULL file system Navigation, Desktop Programms, Window UI, Games and etc

Whereas iPad OS has some simple file navigation, uses apps. Has no Windows UI what so ever. Atleast you can draw beautifully on it.

Surface Pro. The newer, the better.

Surface Go (2) only if you're resistent to slow Computers. Seen reviewers, where you couldn't use the device during Updates, because the CPU is just slow.

For basic Tasks however, it should be very doable.
