Gtx 780 r9 290 choice

Go to solution Solved by WoodenMarker,

There's no point getting the 290x over the cheapest 290.

Also, get whichever is cheapest whether it be the 290 or 780--they're pretty much neck to neck.

Asus GTX 780 or MSI 290X gaming.... They're the cheapest out of their cards. Get whatever company/features you favour more.

or they could spend more and get an overall faster card.

Would be nice to seethe price of an r9 290 for comparison.

780 from a reliable brand

asus and msi overclock really well

i wouldnt recomment a 290 because of how loud and hot it gets

some people do not like a having a blow dryer in the pc...

also nvidia driver support is much better
plus you get stuff like shadowplay, physx, cuda, etc...
