Stores like micro center.

kucharczykt

Are there any stores similar to micro-center that have pc hardware and other such things. If I'm allowed to post my general location I'll edit the post to have that too.

I live near gaylord, mi if any one knows of store in that area.

Best Buy has a small selection of PC components to pick from... but I'd rather go to a Micro Center cause its like Disneyland, which I've never been to.

There's really not a lot of options as most computer stores like Micro Center are rather niche and predominately exist in areas where there's going to be a lot of people heading to them (i.e. Atlanta, half of California and Columbus, OH). I can think of Best Buy, Fry's Electronics and Gigaparts, but outside of that, you're really shit outta luck if online isn't an option.

Check out my guide on how to scan cover art here!

Online is an option but I'd like to go to a physical store and get what I can there rather than ordering it all online.

Helped my brother-in-law build his PC with all the parts coming from Best Buy. Of course that was before Covid, so..

/r/hmmm Google Maps might be a good starting point for you, but I do feel your pain around not having many options to choose from in smaller cities. Heck, even when NCIX was still around there were very few good options on the island of just under 900,000 people I live on, so we usually ended up ordering from NCIX, Memory Express, Amazon, or sometimes Newegg.

The used market is booming around here so if I were over 18 I would definitely consider it.

I don't have anything againt buying online. But in store retailer seem to be more likely to have sales and bundle deals I also don't have to wait for stuff to be delivered.

you can start a business at your age. Just keep it under the table and when you turn 18 you will have enough resources to skip college and go straight into self employment. The most successful people I know left school early, some with dyslexia.

I'll look into it. After the summer I should have some money to invest into a buissness. In the meantime I'll look into repairing and flipping cheaper laptops consoles and those things.

Once again thanks for the idea.

If you can support Newegg.com we need them around like AMD. If you ever go to Disneyland in Anaheim, CA there is a Microcenter near by in Tustin, then you can enjoy the 2 happiest places on Earth!

Forgive me El Guapo. I know that I, Jefe, do not have your superior intellect and education...
