good or bad idea?

is it a good idea to put the PC case on audio isolation / anti vibration feet?

it is if you are experiencing noises from the PC that seem like they come from vibrations through the desk

If you have an issue that the feet can solve, why not?

Won't hurt the PC either way.

WHy would it?

Do literally whatever you want with your PC feet.  The only concern with PC case feet is whether the height is enough to allow airflow, and that only matters if u have a PSU or case fan that flows through the bottom of the case.

That's all there is to it.

the desk is sturdy enough i haven't build it yet but im sure its gonna be ok as far as vibration noise goes. its a lian li pc 011 xl. looks like it has ample room in the bottom. i guess when the build is complete i can test it out. still waiting on some parts.

Very nice case.  A few different way you can route your airflow, all of them good.

I you only run 6 fans, I'd go 3 on the bottom as intake, and 3 at the top blowing up through a radiator. v If you put your PC on the floor, I'd maybe reverse that so the air flows down to cut down on dust.

I may get the standard sized version 011 if it's ever in stock.

Anyways, I don't think you're going to get the answer to your question until you get the dang case, build in it, and see how it goes.

No.

If you can't hear your PC, someone could steal it without you noticing.

im gonna put it on a desk. planing on using 10 fans bottom 3 intake top 3 exhaust, middle 3 intake. back of case, exhaust. once i get some temp readings i will test the air glow with and without feet so see if it pulls in more air from the bottom. mainly i was thinking this will help with audio or other electronic isolation. the feel i was gonna use is like 50 to 80$ each also its specialty audio feet. so i thought it would help with that but probably not.
