Few options here, its likely pcie gen 2 so go for a 6gbps. sas if you want longevity, sata if you want speed. You want speed.

That's quite expensive if the OP doesn't need RAID.

I like how the lowest number of ports (1 eSATA and 1 SATA III) is 93$

I was poking fun, I realize it's from a 3rd party reseller, and typically those are atmospherically priced. Relax.

When looking for SATA PCIe interface card, do be careful. Some are PCIe X1 card. Look for those PCIe X4 for higher speed (see sample below).

 

I made a mistake once and purchased a X1 SATA card.
