Can’t boot when connected to specific monitor.

Can’t boot when connected to 3440x1440 monitor

My build is not standard by any means.

The boot process goes like this: Legacy BIOS -> Clover USB EFI bootloader (on a physical USB stick) -> Windows Boot Manager -> Windows 10.

I have two monitors, a random 1080p TN Dell monitor (HDMI) and an Acer Predator X34 (DP). Thing is my BIOS would refuse to boot into Clover when my DP is plugged in. Like I can see the OEM BIOS logo but it just refuses to boot into the EFI bootloader. Not sure whether it is a resolution thing or a DP thing. Boots totally fine with the 1080p monitor btw. Turning my X34 off just doesn’t output anything. I wonder how to make my 1080p monitor the primary monitor without permanently doing that in Windows.

Right now I just plug in the DP cable after windows loads.

Motherboard is a Supermicro X8DTL-i
GPU is a Zotac 1080Ti
Boot device is just a USB stick which was DFU configured with Clover
SSD is an Intel 660P 1TB NVME
