albeit mortis is only taking SU feedbacks atm afaik, if you can replicate any bug that's not SU related on official release, u can report it here

 

as for your concern, it's only testing purposes, actual length is longer

The beta site is only taking status update feedback because that's the only thing being beta tested - all other changes are irrelevant and should be ignored. This setting was set lower so that the banner would show up during the first beta, and there's been no point in changing it.
