I keep getting given old PC hardware, what to do with it all.

So I have a slight problem/ nonproblem. My bosses keep giving me their old PC hardware. I love it for the most part as I used it to build my wife's current streaming rig and in general some upgrades to both of our setups. Here is a list so far of everything I've been given.

As a setup:

Thermaltake Water 3.0 AIO 120mm

Zalman CNPS9900 MAX-R

2X broken 980Ti's trying to fix

Maybe broken alienware aio may try to fix

I haven't tested the alienware cooler yet, I also want to see if I get any kind of performance upgrade with the Thermaltake AIO over my Hyper 212.

I'm running out of ideas and may just end up trying to find an old workstation and building a setup for a friend. Anyone else have any ideas as my wife doesn't get any happier when I come home with new parts.

I wouldn't mind the 970 (still stuck with a GTX 650 Ti Boost)

Or you can take CircleTech's advice and sell it.

Second option is better.

Lol I have a GT 745m in a old 2013 Mac that I use for gaming and school. Count your self lucky.

If you're close enough for shipping I could be persuaded to give up the 680 classified, no great raw performance but it can do some work

Sell them. You can flip some of this for a good profit on ebay.

I usually sell my old gear if its worth anything significant or just give it to the kids of friends who want a machine or parts.

Sorry, but we can't allow any sales/trades of hardware outside of our Classifieds section (100 posts required). Any such posts have been removed.

The discussion about general uses is fine.

Take one of the machines and turn it into a NAS kind of deal. That's what I would do with my old machines if I didn't give them away. You can have backups, music, photos, videos ...anything you can imagine. If you don't care about that then why not a Steam cache server just for kicks?

EDIT: Of course you can give it away to someone who needs it.
