LG G305 side buttons won't register in games

Joealex24

Hi, I'm not able to assign the side buttons on my mouse in games. It does nothing in black ops cold war or csgo and in rocket league it registers as "left" or "right" depending on which button. The buttons do work as forward and back in chrome.

Do you have the logitech G Hub software installed? that should let you change what the buttons register in windows as. Make sure they're assigned as Thumb buttons and not just "Forward" and "Back"

Fine you want the PSU tier list? Have the PSU tier list: https://linustechtips.com/main/topic/1116640-psu-tier-list-40-rev-103/

I have this issue from time to time. Try using Logitech Gaming Software to remap these button to key strokes (e.g. [ or ] or ; or '). A lot of games aren't designed to recognize the variety of mouse buttons, but I've not encountered a situation where they don't recognize standard keystrokes, so this workaround always does the trick for me.
