Hey so I have a MSI b550-A PRO and I know motherboards have a specific USB port they go in on the back to update the bios. I tried looking online to see which one but I can find anything. Can anyone help?

This motherboard doesn't call out any of its ports as specifically a BIOS update port, so any would work.

I've never had an issue with using any of the USB ports, but I'd say a USB 2.0 is always the safest bet though

To flash via bios, any usb port is fine. To use the external flash button, use the the one usb port directly under the button, it has a white frame around it.

As said above. The USB port directly below the button.
