Benchmark user profiles proposal (for 5950X and i9-10900K)

klusht

Hi,

I am interested in some numbers between Ryzen 9 5950X and i9-10900K but in OC mode (special cooler for both).

I was interested in some special profiles based on user, and from what was scripted for "cyberpunk" impressions I would like to suggest the user profiles like budget, casual and enthusiastic ( have the horses  :) ).

Each profile can have the software "tweaks" that will result in a higher watt consumption and a number of "value/cost"

Basically same benchmarks but on three bands. Each band can have purchase value , and cost/hour afterwards.

I can suggest one interesting solution for easy tracking of power consumption (and all others actually)

Prometheus for storage (push and pull available), Grafana for graphs and TP-Link HS110 for watt consumption. this device has a web interface that can be used for scrapping.

I, personally would be more visually pleased if there would be timeseries for the OC tweeks.

Conclusion, I would like to get familiar with the tweaking details and the result costs. :)

Uh... what are you asking exactly? This subforum is for Forum suggestions. This doesn't sound like something we would need to add for forums. Are you perhaps looking for where to suggest LTT videos? You can do it here:

Or if you are asking submissions from our community, please post in correct subforum for it. We can also move threads, but I for one didn't quite get what you are even asking here.

Hi,

Yes, I am a beginner and yes I searched ltt suggestions and I ended up on this forum ... soooo help me move the topic to the one related to LTT videos.
I am not sure if this is something the entire community is interested.

My proposal is to add/group some additional details on the benchmarks graphs (cpu gpu ram...), where we can share oc settings and the resulting power consumption.

The watt consumption tracking would be something different from the other similar solutions, and is meant to target audience based on their budget.

You can post this to that linked thread. Also you might be interested of our overclocking and benchmarking databases:
