Idk if this is considered as low-mid but I'm currently using a GTX 1060 3Gb. Upgrading Q1 next year if any budget Big Navi entry cards releases. If not, well I'll just go buy a 5600 XT.

Well 1080 basically with the vega 64 mod and undervolt resulting in stupid good clocks. It runs at about 70c as I don't allow my fans to spin over 600rpm. The watercooler isn't amazing or anything it's just a 240mm alphacool eiswolf and all that mattered to me was silence.

this is going to generate a lot of hate....

however to low to mid range gamers dont even need a discrete graphics card.

integrated chipsets are more than capable of playing games.

most mass consumer games at low settings dont even need discrete card anymore

consider,  intel iris pro and vega 11

I do disagree here as Low end gamers is something I understand as League of legends, counterstrike,... those games

Mid range gamers are ones that play harder to run esports, the older AAA games and such and maybe a popular new game. This is where a better gpu really starts coming in handy as even tho the vega 11 is pretty good it is still a low end gpu.

definitions by there very nature are subjective. But i dont consider "esports" mid gamers these are ultra competitive people who desire the upmost performance to gain an advantage over everyone else.

I consider low to mid talking about the consumer with 1080p monitor who wants to play for leisure and fun. who doesnt require all graphics candy. fortnite league of legands warcraft csgo can all run at 1080p with integrated chipsets fine.

I have a GTX 760.

For games of its time, it does fine.

For the newer stuff, my PC struggles.

Xeon E3-1231v3 + GTX 1660 Super here. Has still been pretty solid for 1080p gaming at 60 fps until Cypberunk, which looks like I'll have to try to run with VSync to 30 fps to get smooth performance thanks to the cpu bottleneck. Wonder if I'll be able to do 30 fps locked even though my cpu is the recommended spec cpu for 1080p high (i7-4790) minus 200 MHz and my gpu is quite above the 1080p high recommended spec (GTX 1060).

Sapphire Pulse OC 5700XT

Ryzen 5 3600X

16GB 3000mhz RAM

1tb NVME M.2

550W PSU

Currently Roccking a Gtx 1050, Ryzen 3 2200g, and 16gb 3200 mhz ram, it's pretty decent, and is good for the games i play, but I want to play more graphics intense games like Cyberpunk, Flight sim, etc, My Dad, who is a pc gamer as well, is going to give me  his ryzen 9 3900 as he is upgrading to a ryzen 9 5900x, and then I'll probably get a 3060 ti or 3070, once they are in stock.

I did a 2 year stretch of integrated gpus (2400g and 3400g) because I'm a soulles corporate automaton and GPU market had no sense to me with the mining craze. Now I want to play corpo in cyberpunk and will be forced to buy a gpu, or order a hit on someone that has one, which ever is cheaper.
