Moved hard drive to new PC need help. No internet. UBUNTU

UBUNTU x64

Hi i have a mc server running for me and some friends on an old pc. I came in possession of a pc from someone that is way better then the one I have now for the server. So what I did is swap the main drives and boot up the pc. The only issue I am having is that ubuntu doesn't receive a internet connection from my ethernet port. How is this possible?

So it's not detecting there's an ethernet cable plugged in? Are you seeing any activity LEDs flickering on the ethernet port itself?

yes it blinks orange and is green underneath so 2 light. ethernet works and is detected it just isnt getting a signal of internet in ubuntu itself i even have a wps4n0 interface and i think it is that port but i am not getting an ip

I cant find any network drivers for ubuntu only linux

Ubuntu is a Debian Linux based OS

well there should be some form of open source networking driver, tbh just a clean install should fix it

I know but i am trying not to do you know how to install missing lan drivers on ubuntu?
