Whats your favorite video game theme/song?

I'm just curious as while i'm researching i'm listening to some video game themes.

That's a difficult question, really difficult, but a few of them take me back whenever I hear them:

 

• Secret of Mana for SNES, pretty much any of the soundtrack but the opening.
• Zelda: Link to the Past, Dark World theme
• Halo: Combat Evolved theme. In fact I heard this somewhere the other day and it's been running through my head ever since. The nostalgia of me and a few friends cramming as many XBOXs and TVs into one room, and lighting each-other up on Blood Gulch for the first time; That's probably my favorite video game memory.

Gran Turismo 3's intro movie song has always been a favorite of mine.

Also, the main theme of SpongeBob SquarePants: Lights, Camera, Pants! is really dope.

For me, my favorite series also holds my favorite soundtrack.

Nearly All of Mass Effect's (original trilogy) soundtrack is amazingly well done.

Many of the DOOM games also hold the title for very well executed soundtracks, even people that don't much care for metal (myself included) are able to recognize the raw talent involved.
