Premiere Pro on Athlon 3000g

Hi, can I do 1080p (quarter quality playback) on AMD Athlon 3000g with iGPU. I have a GTX650 lying around too, but I don't know weather it will really make much of a difference. My SSD does only 400mbps read and 50mbps write, should I upgrade to one that can do 3500read, 1500write, or will it not make much difference. Also I only have 4GB RAM. Right now it is a bit stuttery

 

What I use :

  • Infinity Tool V3 (Motion graphics files)
  • Motion factory (premiere plugin)

Upgrading budget is £50 rn, what would improve the performance for now

A faster SSD won't make a difference in performance. I'd suggest upgrading the ram, adding another stick of 4gb of high frequency memory should help quite a bit since premiere is quite memory hungry. You could also try upgrading the CPU to something like a 3100 if you sell your 3000G.

Ok, just thought I would ask because taskmgr said CPU at around 70% and SSD at 100% the full time

Motherboard tier list. Tier A for overclocking 5950x. Tier B for overclocking 5900x, Tier C for overclocking 5800X. Tier D for overclocking 5600X. Tier F for 4/6 core Cpus at stock. Tier E avoid.

(Also case airflow matter or if you are using Downcraft air cooler)

( You can overclock Tier C just fine, but it can get very loud, that is why it is not recommended for overclocking, same with tier D)

(RTX 3000/ RX 6000 Might run just fine with higher wattage tier B unit, Rtx 3070 runs fine with tier B units)

I have the Ti version, so I think 2GB RAM

But apparently CUDA will make a difference  ?
