Very high GPU usage on low spec games

Curesto

Hi, lately my GPU usage so high on low spec games. GPU uses maximum clock speed and high usage, 1 week ago it was using lowest clock speed and usage.

Also, game performance is down on high end games.

I've Tried changing GPU Driver 20.11.3 to 19.12.1 but nothing changed.

What should i do?

GPU model: Sapphire R9 280X Tri-X OC 3GB GDDR5 384-Bit.

Thanks.

I can max out a RTX3090 by running CS1.6 at low resolution with no vsync. I would be getting few thousand FPS (theoretically). So, is FPS low or what?

if you don't set a frame rate cap at 1080p you gpu will push as many frames as it can make. higher fps the higher the workload

So put on your old drivers, that's honestly an easy fix. (use DDU to deinstall your current, problematic drivers)
