Optane vs. NVMe - Which one should I buy? (Urgent!!)

Hey guys,

HP has a sale going on that ends in about 24 hours at the time of posting. I am planning to buy a HP spectre laptop, but am unsure if I should get the one with 1Tb SSD + 32Gb Optane or 1Tb PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD.

What are differences between these two configurations and which one should I buy?

Cheers

NVMe, Especially now that PCI-E 4.0 storage is a thing, why anyone would consider Optane is beyond me.
