Laptop flashing colors

if its on and you move it to much or pick it up it will do this on the screen. Its a hp pavilion with a i7 8550u. It seems to happen a lot if you touch or mess around near the tab key area and idk if this is related but it overtemp shutoff sometimes even it its like 60 degrees and it will turn off or got to sleep while using it. Sorry if this is in wrong category.
