ASUS Prime X399-A MOBO Back I/O fan for CPU VRM stopped spinning

RG_Al13N

Whats up guys

As the title says my VRM fan isn't working any more. I uninstalled AI Suite and rebooted and it was spinning again, today I fire up my machine and it's not working again. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thx,
-Dave

Maybe whenever the VRM is below a temperature threshold it doesn't spin? Check BIOS to see that the temperature thresholds are. Should be under Q-fan tuning or something like that.

I just looked, I'm not sure where to find it. I only have one fan in the case (completely water cooled) and the one fan located on the cover for the I/O for the CPU VRM. and the BIOS shows both fans are spinning at RPMs. Even HWinfo64 reporting chassis Fan 2 and 3 (which should be them) at almost 1000 RPM. But yet only one is spinning. AURA Sync is set to color one at 50 degrees and color 2 at 51. The CPU lights shouldn't turn red.

HWinfo64 reports CPU Temp at 219cel, but GPU-Z says normal about 35cel. WTF???
