Replacing EVGA 2080ti Gaming Heatsink

I am thinking about buying the regular 2080ti Gaming XC heatsink and fan combo I have the 2080ti Gaming 2380. It's a blower card but it isn't the "black" version. The only worry is that the fans might connect differently. Before I take it apart I want to know if anyone has ever transplanted a heatsink/fan from one model of a graphics card to another. Please let me know, thank you in advance. Trust me I have looked at the hybrid kit and I just don't think a blower card aio cooler combo will help me.
