Power question for Nvidia Geforce GTX 750 Ti

Hi guys

I have a doubt regarding the power that the Nvidia Geforce GTX 750 Ti needs. 

 

I got one Nvidia GTX 750 Ti for free and I wanted to mount it on my PC but I'm not sure if my power supply can handle this GPU.

 

My power supply is a MAXPOWER 650W/350W Model no. FATX650MP

My build is

 

Asus PRIME Q370M-C (LGA1151)
Intel Core i7-9700 CPU @ 3.00GHz
RAM 16 GB

 

Can I put the GTX 750 Ti on the PC without a problem it will work or need another power supply?

750Ti is a <75W GPU and usually doesn't require any extra power connector. It takes power via mobo. There isn't any other high demand item in the system. As GPU is such low power, it should be fine.

 

I'm sure others will be along shortly to advise that a better PSU might be considered for other reasons.

It will go fine. But that psu is not good. But with your specs it should be fine for now.

Motherboard tier list. Tier A for overclocking 5950x. Tier B for overclocking 5900x, Tier C for overclocking 5800X. Tier D for overclocking 5600X. Tier F for 4/6 core Cpus at stock. Tier E avoid.

(Also case airflow matter or if you are using Downcraft air cooler)

( You can overclock Tier C just fine, but it can get very loud, that is why it is not recommended for overclocking, same with tier D)

I used to run that card with a Ryzen 7 2700 on a 450W power supply from an SI so a pretty poor one at that, I think you will be fineunless there are other significant power draws as suggested before.

Yea I think go try out if works with this power supply, but yea I will buy at some point a new one a better one.
