[Old Tech] Core 2 Quad Q9550 vs i3-2100 performance

I checked UserBenchmark score about the i3-2100 vs the C2Q q9550: https://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Intel-Core2-Quad-Q9550-vs-Intel-Core-i3-2100/m334vsm41

It shows the i3-2100 is better. But is it really correct? I know the C2Q is old in architecture but still it's relatively high clocked with 4 cores. What is going to perform better then?

Userbenchmark, the website that says i3 is better than thread ripper?

I would look for other sources

But the C2Q supports both ddr2 and ddr3, so you'll have to look into that as well

My guess: i3 better in single thread, C2Q in multi

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately
