hard drive is there a way i can fix my old hard drive that wont get detected as sata

i know its getting power because i hear the disk spinning.

i can hear it trying to read it but when i go to check to see if it detects the drive it doesn't show up at all

iv tryed it in my desktop that has a evga 500watt br and the cpu is a i5 4440@ 3.10GHz

So it's dead. Nothing can be done. The controller may have fried itself.
