Yep, it would. 

What case, ram, and cooler are you currently using? Temps?

I haven't got the cpu yet so i don't know the temps. I've got ddr3 8gb of ram(2x4gb) and it is an upgraded optiplex 3010.

As long as you're sure there's enough clearance for the cooler (125mm height), it should be a fine option.
