Which NVME is for me?..

MaNiK

Evening fellow tech lovers

Upgraded from my trusty 4790k + 980 back in September.

Now have a 3900x + 980 (Was hoping to get a 3080 but that ain't happening thanks Nvidia!)

Now looking to upgrade my storage and seeing as I have a PCIe gen4 compatible system I want to utilise that capability.

I currently have

250GB Intel SATA SSD boot drive.

1tb WD Black for long term storage/backup

3th Toshiba P300 Games drive/redundant backup

Looking at getting a 2tb PCIe gen4 NVME to replace the sata SSD and for games.

Been looking at Sabrent drives but can't work out which is what I'm a bit confused..

I don't want a QLC drive I want the longer life span of TLC

What do you recommend??...

Currently, 980 PRO > SN850 > Sabrent Rocket 4 Plus for Gen4, more or less. You probably don't need that speed and there will be better Gen4 drives starting early next year.

What would you recommend in PCIe gen3?

Anything E12-based or SM2262EN-based, you would have to check my resources (Google).
