3900XT vs 5800X for 4K Editing

Britss95

I'm building a PC for 4K video editing. I edit weddings and corporate video. But I also game sometimes (f.e. planning on buying AC: Valhalla) the parts I already own are:

MB:Asrock Phantom Gaming x570 ITX/TB3

RAM: 32GB Trident Z NEO 3600Mhz

SSD: 500gb Sabrent Rocket M.2

SSD: 1Tb Samsung 870 QVO

Graphics: Nvidia Geforce 1660 ti (planning to upgrade)

My question is which one should I buy? Will my graphics card make a bottle neck?

Btw.. I´m using Premiere Pro

3900xt -> le cores!
in case you ca find a cheap 3900x, this will also do the trick!

GPU is fine. Most editing software need cpu power first, GPU second.

FOLDING MONTH 2021! GOGOGO and save on some heating costs 🙂
