if it'll give you a peace of mind, go for it

and this is my standpoint

It would be much better value for you just to use the 5700xt for some time and then buy whatever new value card is out when you feel you lack performance. Even if you want to upgrade now. I would wait for 6700 XT reviews

I was wondering whether i should get a 3060 ti or a 5700xt, I got a 5700 xt for 350 dollars and was wondering if the extra money and waiting is worth it to get the 3060 ti. If I should get a  3060ti are there any cheap[ and decent gpus to get while waiting.

Are you building a new rig? Does $50 make a big difference for your spending?

$350 is not bad for a 5700 XT (depending on the model) but the 3060 ti has such good value if you're able to get your hands on one.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

nah, not worth running out to buy a 3060ti if you already have a 5700xt

unless if you feel like 5700xt isnt enough

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately

if you can return it and get your cash back

and you want more performance, sure

but the 3060ti availability is a bit bad right now so you might end up without a computer to use for some time

buying a placeholder gpu sounds like a waste of money. tbh

isn't this a last Gen gpu? those don't compare to current gen gpus, especially in feature sets... if you got that 5700 recently you may be able to return it and buy a current gen card (30xx for Nvidia 6xxx for AMD)

true, they were available (between 500 and 600 euros) all day yesterday at several shops here, however, ALL sold out by now, unsurprisingly  with new stock to be TBA

Yes it works very well for me but the 3060 ti is probably more future proof, I want to use this for at least 4 more years and then give it to my brother. Thats another reason why I am thinking it. Would the 5700xt be good for another 4 years

what does your "Future proof" mean

because it's different to each individual

if you play the same games forever, it'll perform the same forever

if you're willing to turn settings down i dont see if being an issue

and of course, depends on your desire and standards

but i don't see a point upgrading because something better is available, you'll never win

uograding when you feel like it's not enough, that's the way i would recommend

Also, the 5700xt is equal to a 2070 super, and a 3060ti is even better than a 2080 super.

It would be much better value for you just to use the 5700xt for some time and then buy whatever new value card is out when you feel you lack performance. Even if you want to upgrade now. I would wait for 6700 XT reviews

CPU: Ryzen 5800X3D | Motherboard: Gigabyte B550 Elite V2 | RAM: G.Skill Aegis 2x16gb 3200 @3600mhz | PSU: EVGA SuperNova 750 G3 | Monitor: LG 27GL850-B , Samsung C27HG70 |
GPU: Red Devil RX 7900XT | Sound: Odac + Fiio E09K | Case: Fractal Design R6 TG Blackout |Storage: MP510 960gb and 860 Evo 500gb | Cooling: CPU: Noctua NH-D15 with one fan

FS in Denmark/EU:

Asus Dual GTX 1060 3GB. Used maximum 4 months total. Looks like new. Card never opened. Give me a price.
