How to test effective speed differences between two RAM configurations?

I want to test the actual speed differences between 2 RAM configurations I have:

(Same machine, only swap the RAMs)

1) 1x8gb 1300Mhz

2) 1x2gb 1066Mhz + 1x4gb 1333Mhz that run in dual channel (hybrid mode?)

I wanna check what's the differences between the two, what's the best way to do that?

Thanks

Honestly the best way it to have the ram configured in that way by taking out the old ram and plugging in the system and running the types of software that you would use on a daily basis. But I think in this situations though the extra capacity will be more beneficial then the dual channel hybrid configuration

edit: changed most to this
