Temperature problem with my Ryzen 7 3700x

So I've had my current Ryzen build for about a year now, and its always run how, and I've checked all the setting that would affect how it runs, but its idle temperature in windows as always been around 50C with random spikes and drops. Even after changing to a corsair aio, temperatures still remained the same. I added a link for my current build if there any issues that pc parts picker didn't pick up, as well as a picture. Hopefully someone can help.

What are your load temps? idle temps don't really matter, and yours seem fine.

15% is my average high for cpu usage when not gaming or doing AutoCAD, my clock speed is is always locked slightly above 4.1 GHz

Indeed check the load temps. Run cinebench r20, post max temp during run.

Your PCPartPicker list is set to 'private.'

We can't see it.

 

What case it that?

Does it have a full tempered glass front?

If so, that will hit your temperature performance pretty hard.

 

You can remove the side panel, and run / stress the system, and see if there is temperature.

If you see a 5*C+ change, it's most likely airflow related.

50C isn't that hot, my pc runs around 45 while idle and 50 while playing games (well gpu 50, cpu 60)

^I know sounds strange but that's the temps... it's all a settings question and fan configs imo... 

 

for example when I use Afterburner with a similar fan curve than what I have in precision x everything will be about 10c hotter under load... 

 

whereas when I use precision the case doesn't even get warm, it stays cool to the touch for many hours of heavy gaming. 

 

So yes you have to experiment a bit, I'd start with all fans max, do some stress tests or gaming and see what you get... as a baseline (if it's still hot with fans on max then there's probably a bigger issue tho)

I fixed my parts list so that is no longer private, and my case has a acrylic side panel with a mesh front, max load temp in cinebench r20 was 69c (nice), aio coolant temp didn't go above 35c during the runs, but the R20 stress test is too short compared to the rendering I do for my cad work that can take around 40 minutes. and with make load temp for those included, I've seen around 80c. My R20 score is 4171 for those interested and my case fan config is 2 front for intake, 3 exhaust, 1 in the rear and 2 on top.
