Internal Media card reader help/advice

I am planning on buying an internal media card reader for my system (a Dell Precision T7600)

Specifically, this one here:

So far, so good. The form factor is 3.5" (floppy drive size) but the spot I want to install this is in place of the standard sized DVD-RW, which would be what? 5.25"?

Dell used to make an adapter cage for this, but for the life of me I can't find the part number, and Dell tech support is useless (what a surprise huh?)

 

So, anyone know of the exact Dell drive cage part number, OR....

a generic adapter drive cage I could buy off newegg/amazon/ebay/bernie the drug dealer?

Why not just get a generic 5.25 inch card reader from amazon for the same price or less? It does not have to be the same cardreader as came with your t7600

I didn't know such things existed, as I've only seen the 3.5" ones.

Not really. Do you have a spare 3.0 header in the system? If so get a 3.0 one if not get a 2.0 one

Sadly I do not. I do have room for a PCIe card that could have a USB 3.0 header on it, because the 5.25" card readers I saw on newegg all have USB 3.0/USB 2.0 built-in, as well as the basic card reader.

 

No matter, you've pointed me in the right direction, I'll figure it out from there.
