Canada: Samsung 1TB 860 EVO SSD - $130; 2TB version - $270; 4TB version - $600; all with free shipping

I think these prices are new all-time lows for the 860 EVO in Canada.

Considering all the discounts on these they've had in the past month, Newegg must have a mountain of them that they want to dump.

The $130 price is from Newegg's eBay account: https://www.ebay.ca/i/202269476753

Their store website price is also on sale, but is $10 more, at $140: https://www.newegg.ca/samsung-860-evo-series-1tb/p/N82E16820147673

2TB version - $270: https://www.ebay.ca/itm/SAMSUNG-860-EVO-Series-2-5-2TB-SATA-III-3D-NAND-Internal-Solid-State-Drive-SSD/183058658754

Newegg's website listing is also $270: https://www.newegg.ca/samsung-860-evo-series-2tb/p/N82E16820147671

4TB version - $600: https://www.newegg.ca/samsung-860-evo-series-4tb/p/N82E16820147669

I wonder if these retailers might be wanting to dumb their current flash storage product in order to prepare for a new incoming product, if they are wanting to get rid of the over-supply so that prices can be raised again, or perhaps both, if they want to dispose of oversupply so that an upcoming product will sell better at a higher price.

Not really sure I have enough knowledge to speculate tbh, but it might be as simple as they ordered a bunch for Black Friday assuming people would want to pickup 1/2TB SATA SSDs for cheap, but they didn't have the demand they expected (maybe people bought HDDs instead, smaller SSDs, not Samsung?)

I actually bought an SSD over the weekend, but I went for a 2TB NVMe drive and an adapter (my x79 mobo doesn't have M.2), betting on the longevity/peformance of M.2 over SATA3, maybe others did the same?
