What Pump is in the Silent Loop 280

Hi Guys, I bought a silent loop 280 and I would like to modifie it a bit. To be exact I want to replace the soft tubing with hardline. Now my question is: What pump is exactly built into the Silent loop 280, because i also want to replace the rad with a 420 one.

Any help is appriated!

it is their own pump. You could try a new rad and hard tubing.

Get proper water cooling loop stuff? That thing is an aio it's not meant to drive a 420 rad or even be modified in the ways you describe

Yes but i dont really have the budget for a full loop. Do you think atleast hardline would work?

Then don't get a loop? What would even need so much cooling? To answer your question pretty much no to a very hard maybe. As I said it is in no way shape or form meant to be modified in the ways you are describing and cutting the tubes can lead to things like glued components that cannot be replaced thus effectively just having a broken aio in the end

Often those are glued on wich means heavy force to remove them which then means messing up the cooler. Why even get aio if you wanna go custom it would have been cheaper to get some diy stuff from amazon than the buy an expensive aio and then do all these upgrades to it.

Also why a custom loop? What would even need such cooling?

Its a used AIO, ibought it for 50 Euros. Also its just because I want to do it just for the experience. I´ll check if its glued than I´ll dont do it, but if its not, I´ll try to

They are supposed to be sealed shut with an adhesive. Also keep in mind that you will also need a reservoir one you break open the aio. I would just not do it and do a proper loop when you already have a decked out system and money leftover to spend

You dont NEED a standard rez.  you can always go old school and y or T a chunk of line at the high point and mount it to the top of the case with a plug.  back in the day i just folded over my extra line with a zip tie.  the "refill tube" holds enough fluid to act as an ad-hoc rez.
