Will an i7 7700 bottleneck a RTX 3060 Ti?

DennyEZ

Will an  i7 7700 (non-K) bottleneck a RTX 3060 Ti?  I dont have the budget  to buy a new CPU so I'll just go with i7 7700. Also my monitor is 1080p

Yeah it'll bottleneck a bit but the question is if it matters, you'll be getting the the performance you want just save up a bit and wait for the r5 5600 non X to be on store shelves.

EDIT: also fwiw a 1440p 144hz monitor would probably improve your experience a lot more than a new CPU if you already have a 3060ti

I have 1080p 144hz monitor and I dont have budget to buy CPU yet. I am planning to use this pc 2 more years probably without changing. I hope FPS drop isn't too much.
