GTX 1660 super in late 2020

_lucalink

Is there any reason for me not to go with a GTX 1660 super at the moment? I am thinking mostly about whether it will hold up for a couple of years of new games at 1080p and whether there is any new cards launching within £50-100 of it and b the next couple of months.

Like a used really cheap 1660 super?

Because the 5600 XT isn't much more for 2060 super like performance.

Or just check the 1070 used market, might get lucky for one near $200, then you get more VRAM, it has the same performance as the 1660 super/ti

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

the 3060 ti just came out for $400

anything lower depends on clearing old stock, or if AMD/Nvidia want to beat each other to $300 with a mid range card.
