Something overrides software defined fan profile for GPU at 73°C

JuztBe

Hello,

GPU: MSI 2080 gaming x trio

Problem: whenever GPU hits 73 degrees, its fans start spinning at 100% no matter what fan curve is defined in MSI Afterburner.

Info: I've noticed that after override happens software reports GPU fan speed in % incorrectly. It still shows what value is provided in a software. For example

Spoiler

Software profile is set to 50% at 71 degrees. But RPM is ~3500 and ~2700 (which in reality is 100%)

When software profile is set at 100% at 71 degrees, RPM is the same.

GPUz reports temperature limit at 83 degrees.
