Gpu not working at PCIE GEN 3 X16

Go to solution Solved by Kilrah,

That's becasue the 710 is PCIE 2.0 x8, so it's running just like it should...

I am facing an issue where my gpu(Zotac gt710 2gb ddr3) is running at pcie gen 2 x8 speed only

I have cross checked that all the components of my pc are compatible with pcie gen 3 x16

I am currently using a gigabyte h62m-s1 (rev 4.0) mobo and Intel i5 3570 procesor, 16gb ddr3 sk hynix ram(1600mhz) 450w generic power supply

I have not plugged in any other pcie device in my mobo

All drivers are up to date, but still i am not able to enable gen 3 manually also it is not getting enabled automatically.

I have tried re seating the gpu and reinstalling drivers but still the same
