Do i need ot upgrade form my Vanilla 2080 RTX

I currently have a 2080 RTX vanilla, i am considering upgrading it but i cant find many options anywhere, 3070 and 3080 is all sold out for me everywhere atm, i was planning to upgrade my gfx card specifically for cyberpunk 2077 and ray tracing,
but all i can find is a 3090 which is way to expensive and i don't want to put a 3090 in my asus strix z390-h pci 3.0 mobo plus i cant afford it.

So is it worth ugrading from a 2080 rtx vanilla to a 2080 rtx super? or there will be little to no benefit at all for cyberpunk 2077? as i want the best experience i can rest of pc is solid,

worth is subjective

but to me personally, it's not a significant enough jump for me to even bother

we won't know until the game comes out, but 2080 to 2080S is like... 15% bump maybe? hardly noticeable

The 2080 is still a capable card. Personally, I wouldn't bother with an upgrade until I've got the game in my hands and it turns out the performance is unacceptable and/or I have to turn down graphics options to an unacceptable level. With a little patience the other cards should become available at some point.
