What's comparable to the 980ti?

Howdy y'all,

I am planning on selling my old desktop to my friend's sibling but I need to get a new GPU for it. What's similar or better than the 980ti that won't break the bank?

RX 5600 XT has a bit more performance than the 980 Ti, but that alone will be pretty expensive. GTX 1070 is your best bet, same performance as the 980 Ti. Used GTX 1070's are probably what you can get as an alternative to the GTX 980 Ti.

the 1070 and 1660 would come in similar price and performance

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

 

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

 

How many watts do I need? ATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explained, group reg is bad
