not faulty, maybe something related to compatibility

My problem is solved,

I connected the monitor using Display Port cable (1.4 Kabeldirekt) and now it gets signal in bios also.

I also had to move my videocard to a different slot because on the top slot the case (a metal lip) was preventing the display port cable to be 100% pushed and click in.

I just bought the Benq EX2780Q 1440p 144hz monitor, which I connect using HDMI cable to the GPU,

it doesn't show anything only Benq when it first gets power, and No signal, until the Windows Login screen appears,

my PC:

MSI Z97M Gaming (MS-7919)

i5-4690K

Gygabite GTX 1660 Super

my old monitor (1080p 60hz Benq EW2430) is able to get signal even in bios

MSI B660M Bazooka, i5-13600K, Gigabyte GTX 1660 SUPER, 1TB 970 EVO Plus, 840EVO 500GB, 64GB (2*32) RAM Kingston Fury Beast, Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO V2, Benq EX2780Q monitor, Cooler Master N200 Case

was your old monitor also hooked up to the same hdmi port?

Yes, I'm using it right now (the old monitor, because I wanted to have a look in the bios),

My GPU has only 1 HDMI port, and 3 DP, but I don't have DP cable yet to try it out

i think it has something to do with the monitor, you should try dp first though

so the monitor could be faulty ? like hardware problems ?
