Help! I deleted a partition

TheJedi

Hey guys,

Wondering if you can help.

I accidentally deleted a partition on my drive.

It was about 300GBs,

I need to recover it but I haven't found any decent softwares that are free.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

It's gone, you can't recreate the partition.

If you deleted the partition, you probably can recover most of the files as long as you don't format it.

Most of the good recovery programs are not free.

But you can try one of these:

But did he mean the files on the partition or just the space on the harddrive?

He deleted the partition, which means all of the files on it are "gone" too. Technically only the entries pointing to the files are gone, so there is a chance to recover them, provided they haven't be overwritten. Creating a new partition on top of them (or enlarging an existing partition) and writing to it is a good way to lose them permanently.

Remember to either quote or @mention others, so they are notified of your reply
