Series X controller on apple devices

I want to buy a series x controller as I don't have a bluetooth controller right now but I can't find out if it works with apple devices. Google searching has been inconclusive and I can't find a clear answer.

 

Can anyone test it and find out?

Well it's currently not working on Linux iirc, so I don't expect it would work on a Mac either.
