White powder under my GPU (on my motherboard)

Reflow4

I was just looking in my PC and I found this white powder under my GPU (on my motherboard) is it just dust, or should I be worried

I can tell you only that it is not a normal product of computer operation.  Computers don’t even produce dust really, though they can aggregate it.

As to whether or not it is dust or something else not knowing how your machine is set up I couldn’t begin to tell you.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Life is like a bowl of chocolates: there are all these little crinkly paper cups everywhere.

looks like dust or spider web

i would suspect it's a small bundle of dust, and there's a vortex forming there when the computer is operating

doesnt look like anything you should be worried about, but maybe clean it away

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately
