First time pc owner looking for help with monitor selection

Just purchased my first gaming pc. CLX SET Gaming Desktop - Intel Core i7 9700KF - 32GB Memory - NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 - 960GB SSD + 4TB HDD. I am so lost as top what monitor would be the best to purchase. I have watched about a million videos and the more I watch the more confusing it all gets. I’m looking to spend no more than 400$. Thanks for any help

I think a 1440p 144hz monitor would be good for your system.

See if you can find these two, LG was under 400USD before and the Pixio was $399.

This would also be a decent option. Problem with this one is that it has horrible stand, lacking even height adjustments. But it shouldn't be the biggest problem, since it's an IPS panel, so the viewing angles are good.
