Building new PC - BlackFriday Deal

Sebsoas

Budget (including currency): 2000-2500$CA

Country: Canda

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Assassin Creed, Horizon Zero Down, Indies Games, Unity and Unreal (occasional)

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

Hello,

I have been waiting for a build since a few month already (was waiting for RTX 30 series), I finally decided to start building the pc to get the best price during black friday.

I will be mostly suing my pc to game but also to work on UE4/5 and Unity project. I'm not an expert at all but I put together this part list using my budget: https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/W9np3Z

Also I'm using 1440p monitor and don't plan to go 4k soon, but I might play some game on my 4k TV occasionally.

Thanks a lot for the help guys :)

Go for an ASUS or ASrock board instead of MSI and get 4x8gb instead of 2x8gb. Also get a better PSU, it's better to have breathing room.

Better cpu for gaming. Decent cooler for overclocking,

Overkill but decently priced motherboard.

Better ram.

Also better SSD

Better case + additional fan on the rear  for exhaust.

Similar psu but cheaper.

@SavageNeo Thanks a lot this look perfect and in my budget. My only question would be for the CPU: I know the 5600X is better value but would another amd currently availbale do the job? I was kind of hoping to only have to search for the GPU. I don't know how bad it's for the CPU :/

Well 3700x would be a better option. Similar performance of 3800XT's but lower power usage and better thermals. Also 3700x is decent for gaming. Not as good as 5600x but still good.

Since you are going 4K the difference between 5600x and 4700x is not that huge as at 1080p
