VR on GTX 680?

Ram3RZ

Is there any possible way to get Oculus Rift CV1 working on GTX 680? I still have a month before i'm getting a new pc builded so i was wondering is there a loop hole i can get around with this. I have the vr headset and when i plug it in the gtx 680 HDMI port it doesn't recognize it being plugged.

You don't need a loophole. Whilst the card is not supported it should work. Maybe not great but it should be ok ish. I've had an issue with my hd 7970 in the past when I also had a cv1 and playing with what usb ports I used and a dp to hdmi adapter worked because my hdmi port was pretty finicky.

I only had to do it due to a bad hdmi port.
